Alas it doesn't work that way in Windows 98. In the Properties window of the IE shortcut in the Quick Launch Bar, there is no line where one would indicate how the window should open (minimized, maximized, etc). Even putting it onto the desktop doesn't change it. Seems there is no way to open the IE window maximized. There IS such a thing as "full kiosk mode" but there one cannot see the taskbar and cannot see the buttons in the upper right hand corner ... 1. Right click on an open area of the desktop 2. Select New / Shortcut 3. In Command line, enter ... "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE" -k (with the quotes and with the -k) 4. Give it any name you want (ie. IE Full Kiosk Mode). Anyone else with a suggestion? ... Harold > This is for XP, but 98 should be same/similar.....
