Hi Don,
The first one is a placeholder and should be left alone. The second is
the entry that starts up your MS Messenger. Removing this entry alone will
not always prevent it from starting up. You also (in the same computing
session) must go inside the settings area of MS Messenger and uncheck the
box that says something to the effect of "Start Messenger when Windows
starts". The Sonic RecordNow! entry looks partially removed, but may be
similar to Messenger in that the program itself may have a box that needs to
be unchecked to make it disappear completely.
