-=PCTechTalk=- Re: Interesting Phenomenom

I also look online about vitamins & I have a big book, tho a few years old...
there is a natural food store near us, that makes all its own bread, bakery &
grows it own organic veggies or has a co-op for that. they carry several lines
of vitamins & herbals, as well as whole grains & seeds. I used to be able to
get a lot of vitamin help from there, they had 2 trained nutritionists that
worked there, but a little over a year ago, they changes hands & cut down on
there brands & different stock of vitamins & herbals. But I did originally get
my rubs from there..
I now found them online at the vitaminshoppe.com at a lower cost, that is
including there shipping cost, a flat 4.95, which every so often they waive if
you spend a certain amount. you can find out about differnt things about
vitamins & herbals & search by name oe brand. usually have at least 30% off of
store list price & carry their own brand that is comparatively cheaper. but not
in the rubs.
I also rotate rubs with some found at the pharmacy, and a leg energizing cream
from Mary Kay, that I found by accident works well at relaxing my back & neck
spasms.

I am always looking, but want to watch for conflicts with medications , plus I
have many drug, seasonal & other allergies & have to take that into account.
Fibro is put into the class of an auto immune disease, but mostly treated by
rhuematologists.
My rheumy is actually the one who found the bad disks in my neck & sent me onto
a neurosurgeon for more tests.
I still have to deal with the spasms in my neck, shoulders & back areas, but
the fibro can trigger a lot of that too...
I had nerve blocks, they did not help & trigger point injections that didn't
help either, but that was before surgery... my trigger points were so bad, that
the doc had to fight with it to get the needle in position, it actually pushed
the needle out & he was a lot bigger & stronger than me !

most chrios will not work on fusion patients, as they can do more harm... and
therapy should start out easy & if you do have fibro it should always be esy,
as otherwise it will just set you up for a flare ...

at least they are doing more study on fibro & like conditions ( i.e. chronic
fatigue, lupus, other rheumatic conditions, MS & ect) but the old school docs
still do not believe in these 'conditions' since they were not taught them in
school !
silly ....

I guess the best thing we can do is educate ourselves & ask our docs, &
hopefully they are open minded to look into it themselves.
My gyn works with a midwife & she is always researching alternative meds 7
treatments to help their patients.

you can always write me on my email to keep in touch about these things, as
this is far from a computer problem & is probably boring everyone :-)

Can't say it has done a lot for me at this point - but there is still hope!
I've also looked up things on the computer at vitamin world - it says what
products are and what they supposedly help with.

A lot of these problems go hand in hand with each other - just about everyone
who has one tends to end up having the others! - the auto-immune problems.

where do you get your rubs?
