Don, you will possibly be interested in 'Open Office'. It has a fairly
good compatibility with MS Office and is free. However, if you don' t
have broadband you can pick up a CD with it to install from, thereby
saving a lot of time. Only a few dollars. I sympathise with you on the
Vista thing (YUK) my last computer came with it so I took it back to
the retailer and insisted on XP. I have never regretted it!
