We use MSN..the newest version.

We too can have web cams and voice.  It is awesome.  We are in Las Vegas and 
Jerry's Older son and his family live in Perth Australia.  That is like 16 
hours  (I think) ahead of us.  Needless to say timing can be an issue.

But, he gets to see and talk to his grandchildren and see his new great 
grandson.  How Awesome!

I get to see/talk to my grands that are about 450 miles north of me.  This 
is wonderful as it is like being together almost.
We have actually watch the same TV program while chatting.  The only problem 
is, they just can't pass me the popcorn!

It sure minimizes the difference in miles.  The kids know I am here most of 
the time.  If they do not see me on line, or I do not respond to the 
messenger,they can call and let me know to get on line.  It sure helps keep 
us close.

Oh..we all have a cable connection ...my kids and us too.  The family in 
Perth is still on dialup right now.
