I stand corrected...LOL. I *did* read somewhere it was never primarily
intended for Win98, and that it *might* cause some problems with some
installations, but as I stated I was pretty sure I had run it with Win98
when it first was released, and I can't recall having any problems with it
either.

IE6 will run on 98 SE.  Have had it on two 98 SE machines of marginal=
