Janette: I had the same problem with IE6. It kept crashing so much I couldn't get any work done. I reinstalled it many times from the MS download site where I first got it. I used Netscape for awhile because of the frustration of the crashes, but at times I need MS IE. I finally reverted back to IE5.5 which was always stable on my system. Then SP1 for IE6 came out. I downloaded IE6 with SP1 and have had only one crash in several weeks. You might try going to the Microsoft Windows update site for what ever version of Windows you are running. SP1 for IE6 should be there. I think you will find it to be much more stable.
