-=PCTechTalk=- Re: IE not letting me certain videos

Judith,
While you should NEVER base how you feel about yourself on someone
else's feelings, I still have to say that I'm proud of you for figuring this
one out yourself. A lot of my own suggestions for dealing with issues also
involve going to the net for guidance, so I know there are lots of times
when you'll get conflicting ideas to try. The more you wade through them,
the better you'll get at separating them into ideas you can use while
ignoring the ones that don't apply to your system.

(Deane - This one should be of special interest to you)
Babydoll has been spending a great amount of her free time in an online
avatar chat program (she's now a forum moderator) and she has come across
many people (including herself) with problems with the client doing all
sorts of strange things including furniture following the avatar from room
to room, inability to full load when invited to a room with more than two
other avatars and even watching the client crash to the desktop for no
apparent reason. I went online and found enough info to warrant me looking
at the Flash component the program uses to animate these avatars. I had her
first run the Flash removal tool and reboot (the problem is that newer
installs don't remove the unused older files). When the system came back
up, she installed the latest flash and has been running great ever since.

Peace,
GMan
