This is what I get..but it's not the only one..this only an ad..trying =
to sell software...I shut down the ISP and restarted and minute I open =
IE here comes this add popup..

What do they say specifically?  Maybe they are popups from spammers =
using
the messenger service in Windows (not MSN Messenger).  This is a service
that allows administrators to send netsend messages in the form of =
popups to
any IP address.  If this is it, go to your administrative tools > =
services >
and turn off messenger service.  You don't need this for anything else =
and
it's just a big spam hole. Kat

That may be because they're coming =3Dfrom=3D Earthlink!  Read your
terms of service (probably at the ISP's 'help' web site); they
likely say that the ISP is allowed to accept advertising and to show
it to you as it sees fit.  The difference is that it is coming from
them, not from individual sites you visit... and as such is not
subject to blocking!

Juno, which I've used since '98, has always had one or two pop-ups
appear whenever I get on the web!
