One or two sites would do. My thinking was to identify the common web
content that prompted your original error message, and then we could
suggest what bit of software needed to be replaced/updated.

Yes, that's definitely a symptom of spyware. You can tell by the
informal and vague language of the error message. Google "this window
is busy" to find how other people have dealt with it.

Remember to run ALL of your antispyware and antivirus scans in safe
mode. Bad programs that are already resident in system memory can
easily replace any files deleted by scanning software.

You should also search the PCTechTalk archives for information on the
following spyware prevention tools. Prevention is always better than
a cure:

* ie-spyad
* spywareguide block file
* spywareblaster
(optional) * spywareguard
(optional) * hijackthis

There's also a free scanning program which catches a lot of
CoolWebSearch entries missed by Ad-Aware, et al. Search for
"CWShredder". Remember, scan in safe mode/reboot/repeat until nothing
is found.

As a long-term solution, consider installing an alternate browser.
