my cable company provides the eithernet card and the modem 'for free'. And when I changed computer's, they came out and put a new eithernet card in - and set it up again as part of the service. I needed new drivers installed I think - I think this is an unusual set up for a cable company.... So, theoretically, all you need to do is move the modem to the new location and it should work. I've heard of some companies requiring specific modems, but not sure how true that is. ---Troth ----- Original Message ----- From: Poppy0206@xxxxxxx To: pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, July 30, 2003 5:45 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: How do I use start up kit high speed Hi, Is there anyone who could walk me through installing the self set up kit for my high speed access.
