But what do i do before i use the XP CD, to get a  clean start. How do i
clean all the mistakes, do i have to go to format or will the CD take care
of that?? Sorry for all the questions but i'm learning -:))).

> If its XP, the installation is very easy. Just boot off the XP CD and
follow the instructions. Can't get easier than that.

can patch it immediately, and get all up-to-date with a virus scanner and
up-to-date definitions. So, hopefully, you'll be safe in the future.
