Are you losing any files out of the deal? What I mean is, do you have any data
on the hard drive that's been lost and/or deleted? Especially important and
irreplaceable stuff, such as digital pictures, financial records, reports, etc.

a message that there are 26 lost clusters in 5 chains, do I want to fix them, I
say yes and let it store an Undo file on a floppy. But as soon as that is
over, it gives me the same message again, then over and over. So I finally say
SKIP, and then I get a message that my Fat copies are not the same, if I'm
having any problems with files (I'm not), do I want to correct it, so I say yes
anyway, let it make an Undo copy to floppy, it runs the check over and over
asking me the same thing. So I SKIP. Norton's keeps running itself and giving
me the same error messages, even though I tell it to fix.
| I can't run SpeedDisk. The first time I ran it I was told that I had errors,
run Disk Doctor, which is what I did. It found the clusters that don't seem to
get fixed even though I tell it to fix them. Now I can't run SpeedDisk because
it says my FAT tables don't match, and instructs me to run Disk Doctor.
