Try a different MP3 player. Also another thought Might
be your Directx giving you problems.

Try Winamp or Sonique or any of the others out there.

One question. When you close out your player and start
it back up again. Does it allow you to play six more
songs then quit again? 

Other then that I am not sure. Has me puzzled as well.
