Jan,
    While Cindy is being overly modest, she is also asking the same 
questions you would get from me.  However, I will add that you should ask 
your seniors how often they reboot their systems and you should consider the 
hardware of the systems that are having troubles.

    Specifically, of the ones that are having difficulties, are they all 
lower on RAM than the ones without any issues?  Is there plenty of free 
space on their hard drives?  Do they connect to the net differently than the 
others (dial-up vs. DSL/Cable, direct to the wall outlet vs. through a 
router, etc.)?
