    Ok, let me know the results of your next search and we'll take it from 
there.  If all is clear, the next thing would be to clean the lens and see 
if that allows the disk to be read better.  Of course, if it installs just 
fine on a different system, that takes the disks themselves out of the 
running as a suspect.  I will look forward to further news from you, m'dear.
