Maybe it has to do with having AIM (or Yahoo) installed on the same =
system as Trillian?!?! I don't have any other ones installed, so I can't =
say for sure. The only other client I have, other than Trillian, is =
Windows Messenger, since its installed by default on Windows.

I did an upgrade of AIM just now that I probably shouldn't have =
done..hisss.=20
It lists things differently. I didn't see the buddy section ONLINE at=20
first...but I caught up with that and finally found you online... It's =
been=20
since upgraded AOL AIM that I can no longer connect with Trillian. But =
yahoo=20
isn't connecting either so sometink is crummy.

I'm on now. Sure you have the correct screen name? SIRTROTHX. Don't =
forget=20
the X at the end for AIM. Even if you don't see me online, send me a=20
message. Not sure why I wouldn't show up, as I don't have myself on=20
invisible mode. If you send me a message, it should pop up. Tell me your =

screen name.

I'm using an older version of Trillian Pro at home, right now, and I'm
online with all clients as we speak. Further, I have tried the latest
version of both the free version and pro version (the free version =
currently
installed on my computer at work). So, yes, it works.

Feel free to msg me via AOL if you like. AOL/AIM screen name is in my =
sig
below.

I'm not impressed by it neither. The client doesn't even have any =3D
features other than chatting to people that have a Gmail account. But, I =
=3D
like to test out new products.

Be honest with you, I don't like Yahoo, MSN, AOL, AIM, ICQ, Jabber or =
=3D
any of those clients. And, not because of the clients themselves, but =
=3D
rather because there are just too many different clients and protocols. =
=3D
If I want to talk to someone on AOL I need their messenger. If I want to =
=3D
talk to someone on Yahoo I need there's. Its all BS, and these companies =
=3D
should get together and work out something where all clients are =3D
compatible with each other.

For now, I use Trillian, so I can talk to all those contacts. But, I am =
=3D
assuming that Google will in the future make their client similar to =3D
Trillian and allow interoperability to all the other clients. Should =3D
that happen, then maybe I will switch from Trillian. Trillian is good, =
=3D
but now they're becoming like ICQ became... over-burdened with too many =
=3D
features. They need to go back to basics and make a simple IM client. =
=3D
Instant Message and nothing more.

we are talking about Google I imagine as it progresses it will be an =3D
awesome one. Time being I'll stick w/ yahoo.
