Glo,
There are people in this group that when told to click on something will ask
if it is left click or right click or single click or double click. There
are others that don't know where to find the Control Panel or even the START
button. They are lost because it disappears when the cursor is not at the
bottom of the screen.
There are still others here that would be offended by being led, step by
step and click by click instead of just being told to navigate to a given
point.
I enjoy helping both. I would simply prefer to know the audience I am
writing to.
I cannot help somebody with their email if I don't know what email service
they are using (webmail is very different from POP/SMTP email), what email
software they are using (Eudora and Thunderbird are NOT outlook express) and
what type of ISP they have (Cable access is far different from a dial up
connection).
Without that type of information I must make a guess as to what to suggest.
A guess is just as likely to be harmful as it is to be useful. Plus, there
is nothing more discouraging than to present a possible solution or a list
of possible solutions and then be told "Been there. Done That. No Help".
After it took me over an hour to research and write the answer.
My closing remarks made it clear that nobody expects every answer in every
message.
Your closing remarks were negative, insulting and extremely offensive. Not
to mention uncalled for.
Sam has my sympathy.
Please place my name and email address in your blocked senders list. I will
do the same with yours. Thank you.
Don
