This is a topic that frys my rear since I live less than 3 miles from a 
refinery....we are only at 2.71 right now but with the snow melting and 
spring - springing it will pass 3.oo soon.

  I had a shocking experience yesterday. Pulled up to Full Serve
  Pump, and when I was handed back my credit card, I asked what
  I had paid per gallon. $3.08! I almost fainted. She....yes, it was
  a she, said they charge 30 cents more per gallon for Full Serve!
  That has GOT to be illegal, don't you think?
