Hi Judith,
yes Partition Logic is similar to Gparted and Partition Magic

Acronis is a backup tool/program not a partitioning tool.

I can't hold your hand through the others as I have to 
read the how too's myself when I use Partition Magic

The older I get the more I forget<G>
