Rudy,
Assuming the System Repair fails to bring you joy, back up anything that
isn't already included in the Acronis backup and then reinstall the Acronis
backup from before. If the computer still exhibits this behavior, you
always have the option to start a new install from scratch. If you choose
to eventually install from scratch, you'll need to tell us if it STILL acts
this way. Right now, I somewhat expect the System Repair to clear things
up. I think my initial thought was that it is a corrupted file somewhere,
but I'm involved with so many ongoing threads right now that I'm not
completely sure at the moment. lol
