Thank you for your reply.  I ran spybot search & destroy.  Just downloaded
and used the ad-aware and that cleaned out quite a bit of stuff.  If I go
back into IE the buttons are still there and the icons are still in my
doucments.  I did the scan again and ad-aware came up with two more items
which it called tracking cookies.  I removed them again.  I did another scan
and came up clean then went back online and opened IE - scanned and came up
with the same two items.  So they are still going to keep coming back till I
shoot them right where it hurts somehow!!
