Does your keyboard freeze as well? If not hold down
the reboot sequence once (alt-ctrl-delete) and see
what program is "not responding" - cursor down to that
program and hit "cancel" (not "end task"). That should
continue the booting sequence. There are a few other
things but try this one first if your keyboard is not
frozen, only the booting sequence.
