Is she using outlook express? 6.0?

Tell her to try going in to her
tools/options/send/send in HTML
Under that html settings, click on it and be sure that send 
pictures with messages is checked.

 in yours - be sure that somehow, under the security tab, 
that block html... isn't checked. Sometimes, windows updates 
will change these settings and the next thing we know, we 
aren't seeing what we've always seen.

Hopefully, this will take care of the problem.
I know that several of us had a big discussion about this a 
good while ago.
pre-service pack 2 in windowsXP, multiples of the same 
images couldn't be viewed, without a 'fix'.
Not sure if there is still any sort of embedded image 
problem or not. I think it is fixed with sp2.

A friend has Windows 98 and she is able to receive forwards 
that have cute
things in them with pictures and music but when she forwards 
them all that
comes in to me is the text--no pictures and no music.  Where 
the picture is
supposed to be there is a red x in the upper left hand 
corner.
I have tried to help her figure this out but no luck so far. 
I am running
Windows XP.  Anyone out there know what setting she needs to 
change.  I get
these forwards from everyone else with music and pictures 
just fine.
