I apologize for piggy-backing here but I read your info and was wondering
how I could apply it to my infection - I can't even remember what site I
went to but I picked up two infections - Norton would tell me I had them
when I did a scan but gave me no way to get rid of them. I hadn't realized
that Adaware had a newer version so downloaded that and it got rid of one of
them. The other one though will show up in Adaware, Norton, Spybot scans
and none of them seem to be able to delete it. I went to Norton's home page
and typed the infection name in (Adware.ShowBehind) and when I try to follow
their instructions for removal by going into the registry I can't find the
files they say are supposed to be there :-( It's listed as an annoyance and
not a threat but it IS annoying :-) So if anyone knows of a way to get rid
of this I sure would be thankful - Dolores

Hi Cristy,
Go to the homepage of your Anti-Virus company and from there look for Virus
removal tools.
Go to the site and search for the Virus you have [if you know which one] and
download and then double click it in the folder you download it to.
If you don't know the name, create a 'Virus Removal Tool folder,' download
the last 10 chronologically, and then double click each one.
If it's still there, go back and download a few more and continue the
process
until you get the one that removes your virus.
Good Luck.
If you have a problem with this, you're welcome to contact me personally and
I'll give you more intensive instructions.
Love,
Emma
