-=PCTechTalk=- Re: Fonts Tutorial

Windows font folder has lots of shortcuts in it (all those I tried to delete
and they stubbornly came right back) but Comic Sans MS and Georgia do not
have any small arrows indicating one is a shortcut. I created a new folder
on my desktop and copied Comic Sans to it. Then I copied the second Comic
Sans and the box came up "Confirm File Replace" saying This folder already
contains a file named 'comic.ttf'. Would you like to replace the existing
file with this one? Information on each one was 124 KB modified: Wednesday,
August 04, 2004, 7:00:00 AM. I chose no and the new temporary folder has
just one Comic Sans font icon in it.
I am guessing my next move would be to delete that temporary folder and
create another new one to try moving one of each of those duplicates? Then
hang on to that folder for a while to see if everything functions as it
should. Right?
