-=PCTechTalk=- Re: Font (text) is all messed up

Hi HB,
It 'kinda' sounds like maybe those areas are now using a different font
than what they had been set to before. If you right click on your Desktop
and choose Properties, you'll get the system's Display Properties sheet to
come up. Go to the Appearance tab and click on the Advanced button. This
will give you access to the controls for many of the functions used
throughout the system, including those for the preferred fonts that should
be used. Write down the current settings before you experiment to make sure
you can get back to what you're using right now, incase you don't like the
results. Use the drop down arrow to select a specific function and try
changing the font to something else. I pretty much change all of mine to
Georgia because I find it much more 'readable' and slightly larger than the
majority of the defaults.

Peace,
Gman
