-=PCTechTalk=- Re: Firefox, java,binary files???

I do not find the PCM Service in Startup in misconfig or in WinPatrol (I
just re-read your message and you told me to CAD and look in processes. Did
that too and do now see it) . I do have Power DVD which my local tech
installed one time while he had it in the shop.
In regard to the suggested fix using Windows Update, the person on the forum
asking for help said this
"I select a screensaver & it will come on the first time & never comes on
again unless I reselect it again. No screensaver appears. The only one that
remains active after I select it is the Aquarium scene 2 that was downloaded
free from the web site. All others are installed from the purchased CD"

However the suggested fix also said that this was related to the use of a
wireless mouse and mine is not wireless.
So this kind of leaves me with trying the uninstall of Power DVD. I have
never used this app so I probably would not miss it. What say you???
