I do not use Picasa, so I can't overly comment on the usage for that = one. However, last I looked at the features, I believe it does have a = feature to do that. Also, you can do a search on Windows for *.jpg, = *.bmp, and whatever other extension your images may be in. However, if = you really have a lot of pictures, backing these up will result in a = very unorganized backup, with all the images backed up to the same = folder. Your better bet is knowing where these are stored and then = backing it up in groups... for example, put all the family photos = together. ---Troth -----Original Message----- From: pctechtalk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx = [mailto:pctechtalk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of betty Sent: Monday, December 12, 2005 2:49 PM To: pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: -=3DPCTechTalk=3D- Re: Firefox Revisited Thanks so much, Troth. Yes, Other than trying once again to do a=20 back-up, I did take it easy over the weekend. I'm doing pretty much the same today. I printed=20 out the detailed instructions for backing up that Don sent me last week. I need to sit=20 down when I'm really wide-eyed and bushy tailed, with no distractions, and see if I can make=20 it work this time. Hopefully, that will be tomorrow morning. Should I succeed, and get that far, I do have a question. I have=20 Picassa. Doesn't that program gather every single picture on the computer? And if so, doesn't that=20 mean I don't have go searching in all the places I have pictures? Best, Betty ~OoO~ wrote: >Ok... If it just = involved installing a new drive then you shouldn't be paying more than = $50-$60. You can always try doing the backups yourself first.
