Got my Maxtor external drive today. To describe the size, it's about the 
size( a little bigger) as a VHS (vcr) tape, but heavy. It's enclosed in 
a plastic case and has a plastic stand if you want to use it upright. It 
comes with a power cord and a 6 ft. USB cable. the only instructions is 
how to mount on stand and hook to computer , duuh.  the paper does give 
a website, but I haven't looked at it. .
