    A LOT of folks are seeing that same error (including my 
neighbor).  That
makes me think it's related to a Windows Update patch.

    The solution is simpler that disconnecting you hub, though. 
You'll need
to open up the registry and guide it to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows. 
Once there,
locate and double click on the "ErrorMode" key in the right 
pane.  Change
the value from 0 to 2 and click the OK button to close the 
editing window.
Close Regedit and reboot.
