Thanks Don,

I may just d/l the free bc wipe program again if it is still available.  I 
assume it would be as good as other free ones out there.  Do you do the 7 
times (swaps) or whatever you call it.  I recall it took forever before when 
I used it years ago.  My router is up and running by the way.  Thank you for 
all of your help.

I just did a clean install on my Mom's old computer (she got a new one
for Christmas last year) to get it ready to sell or give away.  I did a
wipe on it first to insure all personal data was beyond practical
low-cost recovery.  I recommend you do the same.

I booted it to my ATI install disc and used the disk cleanser utility.
