I just did a clean install on my Mom's old computer (she got a new one for Christmas last year) to get it ready to sell or give away. I did a wipe on it first to insure all personal data was beyond practical low-cost recovery. I recommend you do the same. I booted it to my ATI install disc and used the disk cleanser utility.
