one thing that I forgot to mention is pixel death... LCD based monitors can have pixels that die off, leaving small pin holes in your viewing area... I recently read an article that in order to replace one of these monitors, manufacturers are saying that at least 3 pixels must die off before they will replace the monitor. I don't know about you, but if I see a spot on my screen, it better just need dusting! let me know if you reconsider selling that crt of yours! heheheh!!! I'll drive up and pick it up!!! ~s ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cajun" <cajun@xxxxxxxxx> : Wow, Suzanne! What a review! I know a couple of people who have the flat panel monitors and they were able to get one size down and claim the viewing is just as good as their larger flat screen CRT. I haven't sat in front of one for a long time, but they do appear to have more real estate. : : Even if I get one, I won't be getting rid of my trusty Trinitron! HaHa! I bought a used 17" flat screen Gateway on Ebay for my stepson's computer that I believe has Trinitron also. My Sony and Sharp TV's have Trinitron also and I love them.
