I guess it depends on the system you use. I use XP and THAT takes the OE
mail deletes to a separate folder under Document and settings that I go to
every so often and delete THAT in the Microsoft OE folder. If you don't then
OE will start slowing down...or have problems.

        Hi.......I get  about  100  email a  day .I open and  read about  30
and then  delete  the  lot ,  where  do  they  go  ?  They  do  not  leave
the  computer. Do they take  up much space  ??    I made an error  the
other  day.  So I used Go Back    , went  back  10  minutes,  fixed every
thing  but the  email I had  just  deleted  come back too  ?????  If  I had
not  used Go Back ,  would  the  deleted  email  still be  on my  computer
