-=PCTechTalk=- Re: Date or number displaying order received

Rick,

Don't know if this is what you mean. I use Netscape 7.2 mail program
which I think is an early Mozilla program. I can see the order by
'subject', 'order recieved (Date) ' or by 'sender'. I can also click on
the 'spam icon' to get the spam e-mail placed on the bottom of the
e-mail list. This is done by simply simply clicking on the column
heading', This way you can order the e-mail by most recent to less
recent e-mail recieved (Date). I don't know if the Mozilla e-mail
program, Thunderbird, works the same or not; but since the two e-mail
programs have a common ancestory, I would think they would.

Someday I plan to move to outlook or thunderbird; but for now and
because I just haven't had the time to learn the other systems, I'm
staying with Netscape. The only problem I'm having since I can use
Netscape mailer to actually organize my collction of e-mail, is that
when I moved all of my e-mail from my Windows XP laptop to my Windows
Vista desktop, I lost the ability to look at the folder where the e-mail
is stored. Since the load of mail has increased lately, this is a
concern because now I can't access the e-mail folders to remove the
'trash'. I really hate Vista since I'm the administrator of my computer
and Vista won't let me look at these folders and subfolders. I'm just
hoping that when Windows 7 is released that the OS will let me access
the e-mail folders so I can manage these files (archive them to CDs etc).
