The number of movies or the amount of video/audio time is determined by the 
compression used.  Most modern video apps should be able to determine this 
info and adjust the compression to match if you're trying to fit a single 
movie on a disk.

If you're trying to burn a bunck of miscellaneous videos, you'll have to 
manually work out the file sizes for a 'best fit'.  The amount of space 
available on the disks you use should be printed right on them or on the 
packaging they came in.
