well im not from the twilight zone  lol   and yes there is a path  in the
message store place but I don't have the folders named in there ..I think
when that stupid tech support had me do what ever it was to fix my OE it
messed up the  path.......I may just have to reformat to get the right path
back ...thanks for sending this I appreciate all your  checking for me....

That does NOT compute!  If she was in Outlook Express and clicked
Tools>Options>maintenance and then found and clicked the Message Store
Button she WILL get a dialog box that discloses the folder in which all of
her email files are stored.

Unless she has changed her message store from the default the path will be
far far far too long to expose it all in the small space in the dialog box.
She needs to place her cursor at the beginning, hold down the shift key,
press End key and then release the shift key.  She should then right click
on the highlighted path and then select COPY.

Then she should open Windows Explorer  or Internet Explorer, place the
cursor in the address bar and then right click and select paste.  Press
ENTER or click the green arrow at the right end of the address box and
VOILA! she is in the folder where all of her dbx files are located.

These next steps may not be necessary depending on how she has her folder
options set....  She may need to select view and change the view to Details
or Icons  or whatever view is easy for her to read.  Also, if she wants to
see the folder tree in the left hand pane she may need to click the Folders
button in the toolbar.

If this does not work, then there is only four possible reasons why...

1.  She is not using Windows and/or Outlook Express

2.  She made a mistake in one or more of the steps.

3.  She lives in or the computer is located in or came from the Twilight
Zone.

4.  AOL is involved in some way.

I have done this several times in the past and just did it again a couple
minutes ago to test it.  Done correctly the steps will take her to her .dbx
files.
