DAZ support got back to me and said my Open GL version was
probably corrupted and reason DAZ crashes my computer. So
I went to Nvidia site and downloaded new driver. Old GL
version was 2.0.3 and new version is 2.1.2.
So did that help crashing when moving body parts in DAZ?
No.
Now this fellow on the forum is telling me my Video Card
is old. I have NVIDIA GeForce FX 5950 Ultra. Also tells
me 4GBs will not work in my computer. I realize Win XP on
32 bit only sees 3 GBs but by buing 4GBs won't I be able
to use the /3GB switch?
So when I look on Nvidia site, I can't tell which one will
work in my Gateway 710 2900330 4000926
Do I sound a little frustrated - oh yeah. Right now I
exceed what DAZ says I need to run their software.
But I found out my card specs are:
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5950 Ultra
Bus Type: AGP
Memory: 256 MB DDR
Core Clock: 475 MHz
Memory Clock: 950 MHz (effective)
RAMDAC: Dual 400 MHz
API Support: Microsoft DirectX 9.0, OpenGL
Connectors: VGA, DVI, S-Video out
Shouldn't the above be OK to run a 3D program
