It is really 'strange' being in a group with more than one Cristy in it!! It is
such an unusual spelling ! I've rarely run into women with my name, with my
spelling!! I read this and first thought, I'm not having that problem!! then I
realized it was the other Cristy that was having the problem!

I'm not quite sure I understand your issue here, but you can have several
accounts set to deliver into and out of Outlook express, each with their own
pop and smtp server addresses. You simply put the email address you have on
each with your unique password for that account.
Later, when you are sending, you will find that you have several dropdown
options in the "To:" field of a new message. Make sure you send from the
correct one according to your list subscriptions.
It seems to me that in your Tools/Accounts/Mail/Properties/Server options,
you may have the "authentication" boxes checked. Remove that and see if it
helps your issue.
Make sure also that you have each account set with each password memorized.
You can also set it up so your individual send and receive addresses are
different from each account. I have seen people on news servers put fake
addresses in their reply place so that they don't get spammed.

Hi, I am pretty new to outlook express and I had to configure my accounts.
I am taking an online course and had to add an account to Virginia Tech so
that I had an email account and address to work with on their blackboard
services. I appear to be able to log in to the blackboard and read others
emails on the listserv there and mine although our headers appear
different?? Also on my regular cox.net account which is my default account,
whenever I go to read my email on OE (my regular email) a pop up window
comes up with a logon screen for my other accountand I have to cancel out of
it. Also it looks like it is trying to send my email when I create it in my
regular account to both places (to the person I am trying to send it to) and
also to that account thru the school but then it says "failed" to send. I
am confused..Help please
I do not want my regular email going there.
