When you boot the computer, you should see a prompt that says something like Press DEL to Enter Setup It might be a different key, but press whatever key is prompted. Once in setup read the lines at the very bottom of the screen.... they tell you how to navigate and select and apply changes. There are slight variations among different brands so just be sure you read carefully all navigation instructions and all prompts when you go to exit setup. The correct answer is not always the default answer. Feel free to play around inside setup, BUT... be sure when exiting to exit withOUT saving changes. On some computers the wording is strange and requires the opposite answer of what is intuitive. While in setup look for the clock setting and see what time and date is set. You want to see if it is correct, including the am/pm or how it is different from what Windows displays. Again, be careful exiting, even if you did not make any changes.
