I wanted to thank everyone for the help and suggestions with my CD burner Software problem. I finally got the Roxio Easy Cd Software to work right. Turns out that when I had tried to download the old software that came with my old burner I corrupted the software that came with the new computer so I uninstalled the old and used restore and that fixed that. I am leaning towards the Nero software. It looks simple, has a good reputation and is cheaper than Roxio Platinum. Thanks again for all your help. I shudder to think what the repair bills would be on my computer if I din't have you great people to turn to in time of need. I have learned so much from lurking here. I hope to be of some help to others someday. DanT. PS does anybody know why these arrows appear on the left side of the test when I reply to someone? They are kinda annoying aren't they? > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "John N." <foxrivrat@xxxxxxx> > To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Saturday, April 12, 2003 1:49 AM > Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: Cd Burner Software > > > > > > One word - > > > > NERO :-) > > It's ok, but Easy CD Creator and the new version of NTI CD Maker leave it > for dead, IMHO, though you can better any of them if we are talking music > of VCD burning... > > EAC-For Audio Ripping > FEURIO- For Audio Burning > VCDEasy-For VCD Authoring/Burning > > All of which will cost you absolutely nothing and give better results than > an 'All in one' solution. > > Cheers > > Andy To unsub or change your email settings: http://www.freelists.org/webpage/pctechtalk To access our Archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PCTechTalk/messages/ http://www.freelists.org/archives/pctechtalk/ For more info: http://www.freelists.org/cgi-bin/list?list_id=pctechtalk
