Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Calendar/Appointments software?

Anyone know of any free calendar/appointments software one can download?
I remember years ago there were some free calendars that could open on your
desktop and remind you of daily appointments...

thanx,

PS: If there's no freebies like this left on the web anymore, can anyone
recommend a good inexpensive download of such software?
