I just checked mine and it is back and forth between 0 and 2 percent.

CPU (central processing unit) usage basically is the level that
processor is being used.  With a 100% reading, something out of the
ordinary is going on.  It's uncommon for the usage to STEADILY read
that high, and a possible sign that something abnormal is going on...
or at least something that you don't want is going on.
While in the Task Manager, click on the Processes tab, then look down
the CPU column to see what program is eating up so much %.
