Don ____________ Thank you for the link because I have a Gateway Notebook and my clock has never worked. I remember the Tech telling me it had to do with the Battery so I went into their support for my model of Notebook and went into the User Guide (HTML version). It was excellent and told me show to recalibrate my battery. It will take a couple of hours so I will let you know if this helped my problem with my clock. Sandy has a desktop so her User guide is different but I'll bet she can input her model number and find the User Guide as easily as I did.
