-=PCTechTalk=- Re: Burning question--Lil

Lil,
The LR/DR and some other 'common' areas are called "General Population"
around here. These are the kitties that pretty much grew up together, so
they get along well. We have 10 in the master bedroom that we refer to as
"The Sewing Circle". This group started with the 'old ladies' that wanted
nothing at all to do with the cats in general population. They mainly lay
around on the window sills sunning themselves until someone gets close
enough for them to attack. When we come to bed, they blanket us in warmth
and love and get along much better than when we're out of the room. I
usually have the oldest wrapped around my head the entire night, another who
loves to snuggle in my arms if I'm lying on my side and three that take
turns manning the post on top of us, no matter what positions we're in. The
rest take their subservient places either around our feet, on the now cooler
windowsill or on various other things I strategically placed around the room
specifically to give them sleeping areas other than us. Then, we also have
the escapees who live outside. A couple of them come in during the winter
months, but only if they can put up with the rest of General Population. We
also occasionally have to dedicate the second bathroom to those in
recovery/isolation to keep the others away from them while they heal. If
you don't like cats, my place is definitely the last place you'd want to be.
lol

Peace,
Gman
