I agree with browsing to a folder of your choice... and putting it where YOU
want it.

I make a folder for the program and then create a sub folder for the
download/zip file.  Then when I extract the zip/install the program, I
install it to the upper level file.

you can browse to a folder of your choice. That's what I do - and I have a
download folder, and then sub folders for the downloads I do by name. Then I
often save the web page as an mht in the folder so I know what it is. I date
the
folders also.

Is there a way to keep every download from automatically copying to the
Documents & Settings file?  Mine is bloated with duplicate files and
programs.
