Roger,
While I have absolutely no problem with continuing to move forward, I
have a related question that may lead to an alternative suggestion for you
to consider.
In looking at your external drive's housing, do you see a way to
physically get to the drive inside? I bought both of mine without drives,
so they were designed with one end held in place with screws.
