          | That's what I was thinking, but then the clock
          | doesn't lose any time at
          | all. So, I thought it might be something else.

          | Sounds like the CMOS battery going bad. On a few MoBo's these
          | can be
          | replaced. Others are soldered.

          | | I have changes going on in the BIOS with a PC I'm
          | | working on. When I
          | | reboot it, the changes stay, (and I've rebooted
          | it more thn 15
          | | times), but
          | | when I shut it off, and then shut off the power
          | to the cord,
          | | and then turn
          | | it on the next day, the settings in the BIOS
          | change. I had to
          | | enable the USB
          | | ports after rebooting it the next day. I did a
          | virus check and
          | | found no
          | | errors, but that really doesn't mean there isn't
          | a virus in
          | | there. And, the
          | | virus software is Norton 2K, and up-to-date. Can
          | a battery
          | | with low power
          | | affect this??? Or, what can affect this??? The OS
          | is Win/98SE.
          | | Thanks for
          | | any response I get for this.
