Just an idea.  I had the same problem plus my computer was dialing up in my
absence.  I found it was WeatherPulse which I had set on automatic update of
the weather.  It was dialing up at the times I had scheduled for weather
updates.  Not sure about the disconnect but  after I unchecked automatic
weather updates I was o.k.  Do you have any kind of program that
automatically updates?
